The braintrust of Electric Light Orchestra, Lynne composed, arranged, and produced nearly all of the band’s material, while also contributing lead vocals and multi-instrumentalism. A musical polymath, and an immensely gifted artist.

Conceived, composed, and realized by George Baker, Paloma Blanca soared to the skies upon its release in 1975, and has been covered by many since—yes, even/especially by Heino. But it is Johannes Bouwens {Baker} himself who is synonymous with this iconic piece.
The sublimely gifted, somewhat offbeat {esp. back in the day…} whistling mæstro, composer, and vocalist Roger Whittaker is herein featured. Equipped with a manly baritone not unlike burnished mahogany, this great man can just plain deliver the goods (his nonpareil winning ways being what they are). A true original. ∎.
